Why Honored: Thiessen led the 2000 Stratford Elks to first a District Championship, then a win at Bi-District, another title picked up during Area play, and finally a State Championship.
Thiessen and his team defeated Burkeville 49-14 to bring home the Class 1A 11-Man State Championship title.
