Bubba Jennings - Clovis and Texas Tech
Why Honored: While at Clovis, Jennings helped lead the team to a New Mexico 4A State Championship during his junior season. His senior season, Jennings set a state record for points in a game with 75. He was named to the NHSCAA All-America and Academic All-America teams.
While at Tech, Jennings was named an All-Southwest Conference selection all four years. During his senior season, 1984-1985, Jennings helped lead the Red Raiders to their first appearance at the NCAA tournament in nine years.
Jennings played 117 games as a Red Raider, starting all of them.
