Canyon Girls Basketball 1996 Team
The 1996 Lady Eagles, coached by Joe Lombard, defeated Cedar Hill 60-34 in the UIL 4A Girls Basketball State Championships to bring home the schools eighth state title in girls basketball.
Canyon Girls Basketball 2003 Team
The Lady Eagles earned another state championship title by defeating Kountze 76-45 in the 2003 3A Girls Basketball State Championships.
Canyon Girls Basketball 2011 Team
The 2011 Lady Eagles ended their season with a perfect 36-0 record and a 4A State Championship title to their names. Canyon defeated Austin Johnson 44-39 to bring home the trophy.
Canyon Girls Basketball 2016 Team
2016 saw the Lady Eagles back at the state tournament. This time, Canyon defeated Frisco Liberty 41-34 in the finals to bring home yet another title.
Canyon Girls Basketball 2017 Team
The Lady Eagles built on the momentum from the previous season, and earned another shot at a state title. This year was no different than past performances, with Canyon edging out Mansfield Timberview 47-45 to claim the state championship title yet again.
