Chris Koetting - Canadian High School

Why Honored: Koetting led the Wildcats to their first undefeated season, going 15-0, claiming the 2014 Class 2A Division I State Football Championship.

That season, Canadian scored over 34 points every game and their closest margin of victory was 17 points.

Koetting holds a record of 58-10 over five seasons. He was named coach of the year on several pst-season teams including the Globe-News Super Team and Dave Campbell's Class 2A all-state team.

Quotable: "It's such an honor to be on that list of coaches. That's a list with a lot of coaches much better than I am and I feel blessed to receive this award. This honor isn't about one person. It's about our players, our assistant coaches, our administration, our community, and the great job they all did. Everything we did, we did as a group."
