Cody Hodges - Hereford & Texas Tech
Why Honored: While at Hereford, Hodges was a standout quarterback. He attained a 22-4 record and a trip to the state championship in 1999. While in high school, Hodges threw for over 6,500 yards and 70 touchdowns. He ran in 30 touchdowns of his own.
At Texas Tech, Hodges started his senior year. He led the Red Raiders to a 9-2 record and an appearance in the Cotton Bowl.
Hodges went on to play professional football.
