Why Honored: While at Estelline, Rapp excelled in basketball and took her talents to Wayland Baptist, long one of the top women’s basketball programs in the country.
The Queens won consecutive national AAU crowns in Rapp’s sophomore and junior seasons. A three-time AAU All-American, she was named the MVP at the 1970 national tournament.
