Why Honored: While at Canyon, O'Dell was a three-time Globe-News Super Team selection and Player of the Year in 2010.
His first season at TCU, O'Dell started 48 of 52 games, including 47 games at second base. He had previously played shortstop at Canyon. O'Dell batted .276 with 4 home runs and 26 RBI's, including 12 with two outs. That season, TCU reached the Super Regional.
