Why Honored: Her junior season, Griffin helped lead the Lady Buffs to a 20-12 record, ending with an appearance at the 2012-2013 Lone Star Conference Championship.
Griffin earned a spot on the all-tournament team and averaged 21.7 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game during the tournament.
She also finished second in the conference in points scored at 17.8 per game, sixth in rebounds with 7.6 per game, and third in assists with 76 total. She was named Daktronics All-Region first team and honorable mention for Daktronics All-America honors.
