Amy Aikman - Tri-Athlete
Why Honored: Aikman competed nationally as a Tri-Athlete. In 1989, she won the female competition in the Doenges Brothers Ford Tulsa Triathlon. She finished in 1:54.31.
Aikman came out of the water far behind her competitors, but made up the time on the 22-mile bike course and steadily increased her lead in the 10-kilometer run. She ended up breaking the course record by 40 seconds.
