Why Honored: Grimes finished second at the NCAA Division I outdoor championships in the 400 hurdles. He had a career-best time of 48.71 and helped lead Tech to their first ever men's national championship.
Not only was his time a school record, it also was the fifth-fastest in the world. Grimes, only a sophomore, will undoubtedly continue to find success at a national level as he continues his career.
