Fatim Affessi - West Texas A&M University

Why Honored: Affessi was voted LSC Female Athlete of the Year, becoming the sixth Lady Buff to receive the award since 1999. She ended the outdoor season with a national championship win in the long jump for the third consecutive year, being only the second woman to ever accomplish this.

Affessi was named Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year at the national meet and led WT to a fourth place finish overall, with 47 points.
