Fred Cooper - Stinnet and University of Texas
Why Honored: Cooper ran track throughout high school for Stinnet. He then continued his career at the University of Texas.
While running with the Longhorns, Cooper earned three conference championships in the outdoor division. He won the mile division in 1968 with a time of 4:10.6 and 1970 with a time of 4:06.4. Cooper also earned a conference title in the three mile division in 1970, with a time of 14:13.8.
