Why Honored: Redin is synonymous with women's basketball, being honored on multiple occasions as a respected leader, mentor, and ally to those in the women's basketball community.
Most notable, Redin spent time coaching at Wayland Baptist. During that time, he led his teams to five straight WNIT Championships from 1969-73.
From 1955-1973, Redin amassed an overall coaching record of 431-66.
