Jack Williams - Plainview
Why Honored: Williams was one of the best amateur golfers to come out of the Texas Panhandle. Williams grew up in Plainview and attended Texas Christian University on a football and golf scholarship.
Williams won the Tri-State Golf Association Tournament three times. He also brought home triple-titles at the Men's West Texas Golf Tournament and the Life Begins at 40 Championship.
Williams also boasted 17 wins at the Plainview City Championship. In 2000, the Plainview Country Club renamed its Men's 3-Day Partnership Tournament after Williams.
