Jason Skoch - West Texas A&M University
Why Honored: Skoch has been coaching volleyball since 2003, with stints at Central Oklahoma, Mississippi State, Truman State, and WTAMU.
Skoch began his career at WT in 2009. Since then, he has led the Lady Buffs to 5 Lone Star Conference Championships, over 10 NCAA Division II postseason appearances, over 250 career wins, and almost 10 seasons with 30-plus wins.
Quotable: "It was a great year, and this was the kind of year that makes you realize more and more that the players win the games and sometimes you stay out of the way. We had some self-inflicted wounds, but it was the players that made the effort to change and they got rewarded for it. The award I am getting is based on the fact that I let the girls play."
