John McGuire - Caprock
Why Honored: McGuire was the first ever football coach at Caprock High School. He started at the school when it opened in 1963.
McGuire and the Longhorns went 0-10 there first season, but McGuire eventually coached them to their first win on September 12, 1964.
McGuire went on to coach the team for many years, eventually becoming the AISD athletic director.
