John Patterson - Tascosa
Why Honored: Patterson won the UIL Division 5A State title in the 400 meters in 1983. He ran a record setting time of 46:00, the fastest high school 400 meter run in the nation. He was selected as a National High School Track All-American.
Patterson continued his running career at the University of Texas.
