Why Honored: Rodriguez competed in the 800m and mile relay for the Eagles and her personal records include 2:07 for the 800m and 4:54 for the mile.
Rodriguez was a regional and district champion as well as an All-State selection and State Champion in two events.
Rodriguez continued her track career at West Texas A&M University.
