Kelsey Black - Amarillo High & Texas A&M

Why Honored: Black was a two-year starting outside hitter for the Aggies, leading them to a 23-8 record - the most wins at A&M since 2003. She helped lead the Aggies to the 2011 NCAA Championship.

Black received All-Central Region Team honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association, and made her second consecutive appearance on the All-Big 12 First Team.

Black went on to play professionally, continuing her career by playing for the Ponce Lionesses of the Women's Super Volleyball League.

Quotable: "A&M has done a fantastic job of molding me into someone who is ready to go out and take the next step. I think one of the biggest things that I'm taking away from here is confidence in what I am, where I've been, and what I've done, and that is pretty unique to this university and the type of people that you come in contact with along the way."
