Quotable: "It's a great honor for softball as a sport to be recognized by the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame. It's been a long time coming for softball in the Panhandle region. To be named the coach of the year, the first time softball is being recognized, is a great honor. It's a recognition of a great season and a lot of great work by all of the members of the program. To be recognized as the coach is an outstanding honor and something I'm very proud of."
