Why Honored: Kane made her third trip the UIL Cross Country State Championship in 2021. The Wellington junior added to her medal count by taking home her second ever gold medal, her first coming during her freshman year in 2018. She won the title with a time of 12:08.49, beating her closest competitor by almost 14 seconds.
