Lou Ann Garrett - Service Award
Why Honored: Garrett has served as a member the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame committee for 23 years. In 1996 she began working as an administrative assistant at the Amarillo YMCA, who then oversaw the PSHOF. Part of her duties were to serve as the PSHOF secretary. After leaving the YMCA, Garrett chose to stay on as volunteer secretary.
Garrett would stay in that position for a total of 22 years, serving one additional year as a committee member, before stepping down in 2019.
