Lavern Weinette - Booker
Why Honored: Weinette started the boys golf program at Booker High School in 1968. In the following years, Weinette coached the boys teams to 10 district titles, 3 regional championships, and a state championship.
Within a few years, the girls golf program had started up. Weinette led the girls teams to 3 state championships, a 2nd place at state, and 5 regional championships.
