Libby Strickland - West Texas A&M University
Why Honored: Strickland, a graduate of Randall High School, competed for the Lady Buffs as a sprinter, decathlete, and high jumper. She helped lead the Lady Buffs to a fourth place finish at the 2016 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships.
She became an 11-time Track and Field All American, two-time winner of the Wes Kittley Award for Most Outstanding Athlete at the Lone Star Conference Championships and the Dave Noble Award for Most Outstanding Field Athlete.
Strickland was also recognized for her academic achievements when she was named an LSC Academic All-Conference selection and received Capital One Academic First Team All-District honors.
