Quotable: "It's a great honor to receive this award and just to know I was chosen is a cool feeling. I had some great days in high jump in high school and now I've got to make a name for myself on the collegiate level. This really is a great honor and I thank everyone who thought I deserved this award and everyone who helped me achieve this award."
