Mark Kellogg - West Texas A&M University

Why Honored: During his first season as head coach at WT, Kellogg guided the Lady Buffs to the NCAA Division II national championship game for the second time in school history.

That season, the Lady Buffs finished 32-3 overall and 18-1 in conference play. They won the LSC regular season and tournament championship.

Kellogg was named LSC Coach of the Year, WBCA Region 6 Coach of the Year, and was a finalist for National Coach of the Year.

Quotable: "The stars aligned and it all came together. I inherited a great time and we added a few pieces to a good group and close knit team. I thought we had a chance to be pretty good, but we started realizing as the season went on and when we hosted the regional that we had a real chance especially because we were so good at home. This is a great honor but it's way more than me. It's about the Lady Buff program, our players and the assistants who had as much to do with it as I did."
