Matt Lair - Canyon & Vernon Junior College
Why Honored: Lair served as Captain for his team at Vernon Junior College in 2000. That season he was also awarded team honors for Academics and Outstanding Pitcher.
The previous season, his freshman year, Lair was honored as Outstanding Pitcher and Freshman of the Year.
Following his time at Vernon Junior College, Lair signed to play with Texas Tech University.
