Marsha Sharp - Texas Tech
Why Honored: Sharp began her career at Texas Tech in 1982, as an assistant coach. She would eventually make the jump to head coach and stay there until her retirement in 2006.
Sharp took the Lady Raiders to eighteen NCAA tournament appearances, multiple Southwest Conference and Big 12 regular season and conference tournament titles. Among all these titles, was a 1993 National Championship.
Sharp was named the National Women's Coach of the Year in 1994 and was inducted into the National Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
