Why Honored: Jones had a successful high school career with the Rebels, throwing 62-10 as a senior to rank No. 1 in Texas in shot put.
At ACU, Jones' success did not cease. He holds three NCAA Division II titles for discus throw in 2008, 2009, and 2011. Jones also holds five LSC titles for discus throw in 2008, 2009, and 2011 and shot put in 2009 and 2011.
