Why Honored: Cooper spent 21 seasons at the helm of the Buffalo basketball team. He amassed a record of 391-193 at WT, and is the winningest coach in school history.
Cooper has been named the Lone Star Conference Coach of the Year six times and was named the South Central Region Coach of the Year by the National Association of Basketball Coaches in 1997-1998.
