Shaley Goad - Fort Elliott

Why Honored: Goad brought home a UIL Class 1A Girls Golf State Championship in 2015, her freshman year. The Fort Elliott student made a repeat appearance at the tournament her sophomore year, 2016, and brought home the gold yet again.

Goad shot a 78 the first day of the tournament and a 76 the second day. Her 154 total cinched the title and placed her a whole seven strokes in front of runner-up.

Goad was the first athlete from Fort Elliott to win a UIL gold medal in any sport. She was named the Amarillo Globe-News Girls Golf Athlete of the Year in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Goad continued her golf career at Oklahoma Christian University.
