Kim grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Caprock High School.  He also attended Amarillo College and Texas Tech University.

Kim came to work for Kids, Incorporated in July of 1998 as the Director of Programs.  Kim oversees all sports programs, officials and referees, equipment needs, field space and gym needs.

"There are several books on the market related to dealing with difficult people," says Jimmy R. Lackey, President & CEO.  "Kim Killian should receive royalties from each of these authors.  Perhaps he didn't write one of the books, but he certainly gives these authors great examples to write about."

Lackey continues.  "Every business has a cross-section of its customer base that is never satisfied.  Unfortunately, youth sports can occasionally bring out the worst in an individual.  Kim is phenominal at sitting down with these folks and helping them understand our mission.  We may not always please everyone, but Kim gives us our best opportunity to do so in these situations.  I assure you that every member of our staff would agree with me."

Kim and his wife, Pam, have two daughters, Kara and Courtney.  In his spare time, Kim enjoys watching all sports, playing golf, and fishing.  His favorite food is ribs and wings, and Chili’s is his restaurant of choice.
