Why Honored: Williams is a two-time UIL gold medalist in girls singles, and she won her titles back-to-back. Her first win came during the 1974-1975 season and she made a repeat appearance the following year, winning her second title.
Williams is the only athlete from Canadian High School to win a state championship in girls singles.
