Tom Mathaismeier - Amarillo High & Texas Tech
Why Honored: Mathaismeier took his skills from the fields of Amarillo High to Texas Tech. His junior year at Tech, Mathaismeier made 65 tackles, which at the time, ranked fourth among Tech lineman.
His senior year, Mathaismeier was selected as an All-Conference Defensive End and was named to the Academic All-America Team in 1989.
