Welcome to Catching Up With Kids, Incorporated! - JANUARY 7, 2021
Hello and Happy New Year! We made it to 2021 and all of us here at Kids, Inc. could not be more excited to get this year started. 2020 was a weird year for everyone and as a non-profit organization we definitely felt the impact of everything happening in our country and our world. Here’s to a new year and one hopefully less turbulent than the last.
Today marks the first post on our brand new blog, Catching Up With Kids, Incorporated! We hope this will become a place of information, knowledge, and entertainment for all of our players, parents, coaches, officials, donors, and supporters. Posts may span different topics, such as Kids, Inc. history, stories from some of our kiddos and their families, or behind the scenes insights into what goes on in our office.
If there is one thing 2020 taught us, it is that community is more important now than ever before. With this, we hope to shift our internet and social media presence to be more of a space where you can go not only for information on upcoming seasons and sports, but also for a little entertainment, conversation, or for your daily dose of “feel-good” stories.
Before we really get started, it might be nice for you to know the name behind the blog. Hello! My name is Ashley Hildebrandt and I work at Kids, Incorporated as the Manager of Communications & Digital Media. All those emails and social media posts you see from us? Those were likely from me! It is nice to (virtually) meet you all. I am excited to get this blog up and running and hope you will follow along every week.
