Why Honored: 2016 was a very successful season for Kicinski. He placed sixth in the shot put at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships. He threw for 15.24 meters.
At the New Mexico Cherry & Silver Invite, Kicinski threw a personal best of 15.93 meters. That mark was the sixth best in the conference and 39th in the nation.
Kicinski threw over 15 meters in every meet he competed in during the 2016 season.
