Why Honored: Becker, a junior at WT, had an extraordinary first season with the Buffs. He earned Lone Star Conference Player of the Year honors and ranked second among all NCAA Division II players with 92 RBI and fourth in the nation with 184 total bases.
In conference, Becker led in home runs (22), doubles (22), RBI, slugging percentage (.803), and total bases. He also ranked fifth in the LSC in batting average (.402), third in hits (92), and seventh in runs scored (68).
