What makes an individual uniquely qualified to be the Kids, Incorporated Volunteer of the Month is having the ability to make a difference in the lives of children through our sports programs. In today's world, children are in desperate need of quality adult mentors in their lives. Kids, Incorporated volunteers are critical to the overall success of our program. Individuals considered for this award should meet the following requirements:
All volunteers are eligible for nomination. An individual may receive the award only once.
The nominee must exemplify the goals and values of Kids, Incorporated by having the ability to carry out the organization's mission of providing children the opportunity to participate in the sport of their choice. Additionally, the individual must demonstrate support and encouragement of the social, mental, and physical well-being for all children involved.
The names of all Volunteer of the Month recipients are inscribed on permanent recognition displays located in the Kids, Incorporated Warehouse. Additionally, recipients are treated to lunch with members of the Kids, Incorporated staff and presented with tokens of appreciation on behalf of the organization.
Nominations may be submitted by anyone. All nominations must be submitted online at www.kidsinc.org/amavolunteer. Final decisions must be approved by the Director of Programs.
