Why Honored: In only his Sophomore season, Lujan had an exceptional season with the Sunray Bobcats. The starting quarterback helped lead his team to an appearance at the Area round of play, where they narrowly lost to New Home 22-21.
Lujan ended the 2022 season with 5,259 total yards and 67 total touchdowns, including 16 rushing scores. He averaged 373 yards per game and was ranked as a top 5 passer in the United States and the top passer in the entire state of Texas.
