Why Honored: Bob Schneider, PSHOF Inductee #141, accepted his first coaching job as a 21-year-old in his hometown of Darrouzett. He continued to coach for 43 years with stints at McLean, Clayton, Canyon, Texas Woman’s College, and West Texas A&M.
Schneider recently earned yet another honor. The legendary basketball coach has been elected to the Class of 2022 Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. It is no secret that Schneider is one of the best to ever coach the game, finishing his 25th and final season at West Texas A&M with a career all-time record of 1,045-293.
