Cody Crouch - Hereford
Why Honored: Crouch has completely revamped the Hereford Tennis program throughout his seven years with the school. In 2019, he led his team to a District 3-4A title and a 6-0 district record, marking Hereford's first district title since the mid-1990's. Overall, Crouch and his team finished the season 23-3 and reached the regional finals level of play, before falling to Vernon. Crouch was honored as the top Class 4A Coach by the Texas Tennis Coaches Association.
The fall of 2020 brought on even more success for Crouch and his team. They brought home the school's first ever team tennis UIL State Championship title after edging out Boerne 10-8. This big win is believed to be the first team title won by a Panhandle team since Tascosa won the 5A title in 1996-1997.
