Ashley Ellis - Caprock Tennis
Why Honored: Ellis had a successful high school career at Caprock High School. She was a four-time District 3-4A MVP and Champion and a three time runner-up at the regional championship before winning the regional championship her senior year. Ellis was the first Caprock girls tennis player to sign to a Division I school.
Ellis continued her career at Texas State. During her junior season, Ellis faced knee surgery and later had a second surgery on her other knee. Following her playing career, she went on to have a successful coaching career with stops at schools within the Texas Panhandle.
