Hayden Morris - Wellington

Why Honored: Morris, who was born deaf, is a multi-sport athlete out of Wellington High School. He played football, basketball, and tennis, and excelled in all three of them. 

During his junior season, he was a second-team District 4-1A defensive tackle and helped lead Wellington to a district title, finishing the season 11-1.

In basketball, Morris was an all-district post/forward. The Skyrockets finished their season 31-5 and reached the Region I-1A quarterfinals. 

Morris qualified for the Region I-1A boys tournament in singles play, reaching the regional quarterfinals. 

Despite his inability to hear, Morris is consistently one of the most accomplished athletes out of Wellington High School and has a strong competitive spirit, no matter which sport he plays.
