Carmen Wynn - Basketball

Why Honored: Following a successful high school career at Amarillo High, Wynn signed with Wayland. In her four seasons, the 6-foot post helped the team rack up a record of 113-23, including a run to the national NAIA finals in 1987.

She scored 2,310 points to rank No. 3 on the all-time Wayland list and earned Kodak All-American honors twice. Wynn earned NAIA and American Women’s Sports Federation All-American laurels three times.

She still holds the WBU records for most free throws attempted and made (452-720) in a career.
