Sarah Butler - Volleyball
Why Honored: Butler accepted a scholarship to the University of Texas, where she was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year, before she transferred to WT. WT went 98-12 in Butler's three years on the team; the Lady Buffs won an NCAA Division II national championship in 1997.
Her senior season, WT reached the Elite Eight semifinals. In her final college match, she recorded 41 kills.
Butler was selected for the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American teams all three years. She was Division II Player of the Year in 1997 and 1999.
