Tucker Davidson - Atlanta Braves
Why Honored: Davidson, a 2014 Tascosa High graduate, went on to play college baseball at Midland College following graduation. In his sophomore year, he was drafted in the 19th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft by the Atlanta Braves.
Following the 2019 season, Davidson was added to the Braves 40 man roster. He would go on to be added to the Braves 60-member player pool for the shortened 2020 MLB season. He made his major league debut on September 25, 2020.
In 2021, Davidson started in four games for the Braves and was added to the World Series roster on October 27. He would go on to be announced as the starter for Game 5 where he pitched two innings.
Davidson was added to the Braves 2021 Opening Day roster for the first time in his career on April 7, 2022. On May 17 he earned his first career victory when he pitched the first five innings of a shutout game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
