Why Honored: Hoelting led two doubles teams from Tulia to a Class 3A State Championship. Both of the championships involved Hoelting's children, as daughter Madison and son Jaxton partnered with Tanner Hooper and Carlos Subealdea, respectively, to take home the gold.
Quotable: "These four had been playing together probably since junior high so they put in a lot of extra time and a lot of hard work. I'm more of the nerve calmer and keeping them focused than I am the coach sometimes."
